The Agricultural Services programs are under the direction of the Agriculture Services Board (ASB). The Board meets to review the programs and policies, and to give the Agricultural staff general direction. The ASB & staff work under the ASB, Weed Control, Agricultural Pests, Soil Conservation & Environmental Protection and Enhancement Acts of Alberta.

Equipment rentals, provincial grasshopper survey, weed inspections, clubroot of canola inspections, coyote predation control, wild boar bounty, and hamlet maintenance are some of the programs operated by the Community Development Department each year. Many of the publications that are available through Alberta Agriculture are also available at the County office.

The 2012 Trade Show will be held on April 14, 2012 at the Dave Shaw Memorial Complex in Hines Creek. Exhibitor and Sponsor packages are available in the Document Library.
